An interactive project that investigates my personal space in my former apartment at 1316 EutawPlace, Baltimore MD.
In this project I wanted to investigate the way I occupy the apartment space and how I convert it to my own personal space. This project asks the question: what makes a space a home?
I placed a webcam, fixed with a fisheye lens, on various locations of the apartment ceiling, capturing my movement in the space. The video signal is sent to Processing, translating the difference between the video frames into a graphical language that illustrates the use of the personal space.
